Carmine Lawrence Gentile is a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 13th Middlesex District. He is affiliated with the Democratic Party. He assumed office on January 7, 2015, succeeding Tom Conroy.

Gentile is a resident of Sudbury, Massachusetts. Before his election to the House, he held several positions in city government and was a private-practice attorney.

As a representative, Gentile has been involved in various legislative activities. He has worked on bills related to appropriations for fiscal years, maintenance of departments, boards, commissions, institutions, and certain activities of the Commonwealth, interest, sinking fund, and serial bond requirements, and for certain permanent improvements.

In addition to his legislative duties, Gentile has served on several committees, including the Elder Affairs Joint Committee, Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture Joint Committee, Higher Education Joint Committee, and State Administration and Regulatory Oversight Joint Committee.

Gentile ran for re-election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives to represent the 13th Middlesex District and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. His current term ends on January 1, 2025.

He has sponsored legislation on a variety of issues, including school day start times for middle and secondary school students, ranked choice voting in the town of Concord, same day voter registration, and the use of pesticides containing the herbicide substance Glyphosate in the Commonwealth.
