Dave Heine for representative
Dave Heine, also known as David Heine, is a member of the Republican Party and has been serving in the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 85, since November 9, 2016. His current term is set to end on November 6, 2024.
Heine graduated from New Haven High School in 1975 and later attended Indiana University, where he earned a B.S. in accounting in 1979. He also attended Ohio State University’s Executive Management Training. In his professional career, he became the owner of Heine Farms and served as vice president and corporate officer for Do It Best Corp.
Heine has served on a variety of boards and chairs in his community, including serving as vice chairman of the Lutheran Foundation Board of Directors, a board member for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana, and chairman of the School Board of Central Lutheran School in New Haven.
In terms of his legislative duties, Heine has been assigned to several committees, including the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, Roads and Transportation Committee, and Ways and Means Committee. He also served as the Chair of the Local Government Finance Subcommittee in 2023-2024.
